OpenAI has officially released its Sora app for Android, expanding its powerful AI video creation tools to a much wider global audience. After a successful debut on iOS earlier this year, the Android rollout marks the next major step in making AI-powered storytelling accessible to everyone.
Sora allows users to create short, high-quality videos by simply typing text prompts. The AI then generates fully animated, realistic, or stylized clips complete with motion and sound. Currently, the Android version is available in select countries including the United States, Canada, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam. OpenAI plans to expand to more regions in the coming months.
